David Gilmour is the author of six novels, including Lost Between Houses, Sparrow Nights, and A Perfect Night to Go to China, for which he won the Governor General's award for English fiction. He has been a film critic and host for the CBC's flagship current affairs program The Journal, and hosted Gilmour on the Arts, which won a Gemini Award in 1997. His book reviews appear frequently in the Globe and Mail and the National Post. He lives in Toronto.
